Our AGM this year will be live and we are looking forward to welcoming Islington members of the LCC to a local pub for the review of 2021/2022, elections to our committee, treasurer’s report and special guest speaker – we are delighted that Carla Francome, yes that Carla, will be with us.

Stories from the bumpy ride of cycle campaigning. Such as how being brought up by clowns has influenced me, to stories of cycling at Palmers Green Mosque, being called by the police and accidentally trying to accept the wrong award at the LCC.”
This will be an entertaIning and informative talk and there will be a lively discussion afterwards on campaigning issues, active travel, liveable neighbourhoods or just life on a bike. It’s been an ‘interesting’ year for cyclists in Islington – think people-friendly streets, think Liverpool Road, think plans for Holloway Road to say nothing of bike hangars – so come along and join in.
We have found a super venue above a pub in central Islington and are delighted to offer a free drink – indeed, a free soft or alcoholic drink – to everyone who arrives between 1900 and 1920; proceedings will start at 1930 and we will aim to finish by 2045 when we can all enjoy an informal chat with Carla. With perhaps a few more refreshments. Sorry but the room is accessible only via stairs.
We can accommodate a maximum of 45 people so if after registering you find you can’t attend, please let us know so that we can offer your place to others on the waiting list. Exact details will be emailed to you a couple of days prior to the AGM, including a link to last year’s minutes and to our Treasurer’s report so that you have all necessary information to participate. Please note that only LCC members can vote.
